So as you all know we gave away Ripley just over a month ago. I promised that we would get a new dog. I planned to make it happen for Jagen's birthday which isn't for another 6 weeks, but a couple of weekends ago J.D. heard about a Yorkie-poo that was for sale (too much $$). And well to make a long story short J.D. got really fired up about getting a dog. So after some looking and discussing what kind we wanted, Saturday we stumbled onto a guy who had an AFFORDABLE (that is the key word here) Malti-poo. So we went to see him Saturday night. He also had one male Chihuahua, and Asey took right to him. She held him the whole time we were there and was lovin' on him. Next thing I know they are all talking about getting both dogs. I was dismissing it and paying no attention. Next thing I know the guy is wheeling and dealing with J.D. about taking both. I am still paying no attention and dealing with my sick little Reese. Then the guy says "Okay you can have them both for the price of the Malti-poo." WHAT?????? So now I had 12 big eyes (4 of which were the puppies) begging me for both dogs. J.D. and I walked outside and J.D. proceeded to talk me into the deal. (What a sweet talker...he attacked me from the womanly good shopping deal side of it...yes a BOGO deal. And I fell for it.) So next thing I know we had two little puppies in the car and were headed home.
They are so darn cute though. We have been tossing around names so here here they are...for today at least.
Introducing....
Higley
The boys in their crate.
Jagen is loving it.
Tyce thinks they are pretty fun.
Asey and her baby. She really does carry him around like a baby.
They are pretty tiny and will stay pretty small. Just what I wanted. Now you will notice the Chihuahua doesn't look too much like a Chihuahua. The guy claimed both parents were Chihuahuas. The mom was pretty the dad was not according to him. But I think he is cuter than a Chihuahua. So I am working on being the Alpha-male so that we will have a better relationship than I did with Ripley. Anyone can come and see them any time, or watch out we will be coming for a visit and you know they will come too.

Tyce and Jordan being goofballs.
Jagen, Angelie and Ely playing charades.
Uncle Rod leading the game of 20 questions.
