Reese's Side of the Story
I have busy days. So many things to do, so little time. Here are some of, what I feel are, the most pressing things I must do everyday.

Everyday I get in this cubby. I need to organize the magazines and arrange the toys in the basket. Sometimes I get out a wipe or two or more to dust things with. See I am just trying to help my mom.
Pencils! I search out any pencils I can find and I chew off the erasers. This family needs to aim high... no mistakes. Who needs erasers if you don't make mistakes?
Somebody has got to check and make sure that the TP is unrolling quickly and smoothly. Yet another one of my jobs, since no one else will do it. I make sure and check each bathroom too!
The kids bathroom is in good shape...nice and fast!
Downstairs bathroom is known to be slow so I check it a few times a day if I can catch the door open.
I even sneak in and check my parents bathroom.
In Asey's defense, she will sometimes help me with this responsibility. She is on re roll duty.

Now that Jagen is practicing the piano, I know she can use a little help. I love it when we play duets. I play the really high parts, or the really low parts. Jagen seems to think that she is better than me and that it is just noise. Whatever.

My favorite chore of the day is in my room. THE BOOKS!! They always need to be organized and rearranged.

Some of the TP from my previous job made it into this picture. Oops.
I always try to take a minute for myself though. I usually look at a few of the books along the way.
So there you have it. I have the best of intentions. I try to look out for the family and do a few things to help us all. I love my family!
Next time you hear my mom say that I am a busy body, remind her if I don't do these jobs, who will????

Time for a change!
So I spruced up the digs. I gotta share...obviously the picture at the top is older, we took it at Christmas outside my parents house. Yes that is snow on the ground, and yes Tyce's ears really were that red. It was a bit chilly. I love the picture, because I think that my hair rocks. It is the best my hair has looked since high school. Who cares what everyone else looks like. JK!
Am posting a picture of my awesome parents from that same photo shoot. I have great parents. I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for the family I was born into. My heart is full with love and admiration for my mother and father. Thanks mom and dad for everything!! I love you so much!!

KOM - King of the Mountian
"On the fourth and most demanding day in "America's toughest stage race," (Tour of Utah)300 citizen warriors will precede the professional teams by 4 hours. Their goal: ride 98 miles and scale 14,778 vertical feet, a feat representing over 28% of the horizontal distance and almost half the climbing in the five-day Tour of Utah stage race. Finishing this ride is the equivalent to riding the Tour de France’s Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier and Alpe d’Huez"
J.D. and his three good friends from Fresno, Adam, Vic, and Jared all rode together - Well Jared caught up for the last 20 miles after a late start:o) J.D.'s brother Jeff, our nephew Kristopher, and I dove SAG (support and gear) for them. It was fun to watch them all along the way. They were all great until they hit that climb to Snowbird, and I got a little worried, but they all stuck it out like champs! You guys ROCK!!!
Our biggest thanks to everyone that supported J.D. through this. Thanks Terry and company for keeping the kids. Thanks mom and Jenn for watching Reese so I could be a bike wife. Thanks Jeff and Kristopher for being the BEST SAG GUYS on the block!! and for the camera Jeff. Thanks Kristi for all the support and the great pictures. Thanks Becky for spending part of your valuable Saturday with us! It was so much fun! Check out the montage below! (Look for the great SAG Crew! ha ha)

Off to preschool

So Asey is at her first day of preschool. She was so excited! We have been talking about preschool since we moved to Arizona. We never put her in with the craziness that we called life last year, so this has been a long time coming. My friend Kathy is doing a preschool at her house. So on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon she is Miss Kathy! :o) I love Asey's excitment. I milked it. Asey you need to go to bed early because you have preschool tomorrow, brush your teeth you have preschool, pick cute clothes you have preschool, clean the bathroom you have preschool (just joking), but I could get her to do just about anything because she had preschool. She was all excited to hang her bag by the kids backpacks and to take her picture out in front just like the big kids did their first day. She is so ready! It is so quiet right now with Reesey asleep and Asey gone. I can get a few things done!

Fasten Your Seatbelts
1) J.D. was in an accident in the van
2) We won't get a new car (it is repairable, but it sure would be fun to have a new car)
GOOD NEWS:
1) Nobody was hurt
2) It wasn't J.D.'s fault
3) J.D. is one great driver!! He avoided hitting the car in front of him.
4) Someone else's insurance will have to pay to fix it!
5) We won't get a new car (who wants a new car payment with this economy?!!)

The Dog Days of Summer Come to an End
I think Jagen looks so grown up!
Don't look at Tyce's old dirty shoes. His new ones should be here tomorrow!
Cute!
Just Asey, Reese and me again. I am sure we will stay busy.

Two Girlies
Jagen's Softball Season
Jagen finish up her first season of softball back in May. I volunteered J.D. to be the coach. They both had a lot of fun. Her favorite positions were pitcher, short and 1st base, of course. She wants to play again next year. Here are some pictures.
The Athlete
Hey batter, batter, batter...
Lookin' for a steal.
Nice and slow, right in the pocket.
Waiting in the outfield.
Doesn't J.D. look good in salmon?
Asey's Fun Dress up Day
Asey got invited to her friends house for a fun dress up day. My friend Misty did the girls hair and makeup, then they walked the runway. Is this not the cutest?!! I think they are all 4 going on 24! Thanks for the fun Katie and Lexi!!
