As I prepare for the 109 mile ride thru the dessert of Tuscon AZ. I went on one last long training ride on Saturday. Here is a link that will show my route and all my statistics. I averaged 18 MPH for the 90 miles with a top speed of 42.8 MPH. I climbed almost 6000 vertical feet and was spinning the pedals for just over 5 hours. I am looking forward to the event and can only imagine what it will be like to ride with 8000 other riders in this mass start event.
Wish me luck!!!
Click on the Blue title "Training Update" Its fun to click on "view larger map" and zoom in on the satalite pictures.

Dude you are crazy, doesn't your rear hurt after five hours on that little itty bitty seat? When is that race in AZ?
Hey Kendra, you link for Roger and Kristi takes you to my site!
Wow! I wonder who had that great idea to get the thing that tracks all of those cool statistics! Have fun and be careful! Don't knock any old men or little kids off of their bikes! And have Kendra take movies of you walking like a cowboy when the race is over!!
GOOD LUCK! Kristopher says have fun "hitting the wall", push through it and keep going!
